SolydEra and Dynelectro have announced the evolution of their partnership from a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to a formal collaboration agreement, marking a significant milestone in green energy innovation.
The agreement, aimed at delivering a 1 MW Solid Oxide Electrolyser by September 2025, combines SolydEra’s advanced technology with Dynelectro’s industrial expertise to accelerate the production of green hydrogen and ammonia.
These critical components are essential for building a sustainable, low-carbon economy.
Sune Lilbæk, CEO of Dynelectro, commented: “This represents the culmination of four years of collaboration and shared innovation between our teams.
“By combining our expertise in high-efficiency electrolysis with SolydEra’s robust stack technology, we are poised to deliver a scalable solution for affordable hydrogen, a critical feedstock in aviation, transportation and petrochemical industries.
“This is a significant step forward in meeting the growing market demand for clean energy solutions across industries.
Uniting expertise for scalable green solutions
The partnership leverages SolydEra’s cutting-edge Solid Oxide Electrolysis technology and Dynelectro’s deep understanding of industrial applications.
Together, the companies aim to create efficient and scalable solutions that redefine green hydrogen and ammonia production.
This strategic collaboration is designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable energy sources while driving innovation in the renewable energy sector.
Framework to propel Solid Oxide Electrolyser innovation
Under the agreement, SolydEra will provide solid oxide stacks and serve as the technology provider, while Dynelectro will bring its industrial application expertise to the table.
This synergy creates a comprehensive framework that harnesses the strengths and resources of both partners, enabling the delivery of transformative solutions for stakeholders and advancing the global transition to a greener future.
Alexander Liberov, CEO of SolydEra, added: “We are thrilled to solidify our partnership with Dynelectro. This agreement not only underscores our commitment to innovation but also paves the way for groundbreaking advancements.
“This co-creation is already seeing incredible results if we think that in less than one year, a 1-MW dynamic electrolyser unit delivering up to 30 kg/hr of hydrogen will be delivered to the Danish company European Energy that will be producing green hydrogen by splitting water using the electricity generated in their wind farm”.
This collaboration solidifies the pivotal role of Solid Oxide Electrolysers in supporting a low-carbon economy and highlights the power of partnerships in achieving sustainability goals.
