On 14 September 2021, EIT Digital will hold its annual Flagship conference; it will comprise talks on the European innovation system, digital transformation, and education.
This year, the European Institute for Technology Digital (EIT Digital) will organise its annual flagship conference as an online event.
It will offer a range of exciting discussions, testimonies, and keynotes, and will investigate the EIT Digital partnership and its influence on digital Europe.
Showcasing innovation
The conference will showcase motivating keynote speeches by Philipp Baaske, Founder and CEO of German scale-up Nanotemper, and Mark Boris Andrijanic, the Slovenian Minister for Digital Transformation (Presidency of the EU Council). As well as this, there will be an introductory speech by EIT Digital’s CEO, Willem Jonker and talks from Pierre Regnier, CEO and Cofounder of Velco and Robert Bosch Venture Capital’s Vice President, Gitte Bedford, amongst other speakers.

The EIT Digital Conference Online event is free of charge and open to anyone who is interested in learning more about how EIT Digital can transform cutting-edge digital tech innovations into market successes, assist with European deep tech scale-ups becoming global digital champions, and aid in the growth of digital talents into Europe’s tech entrepreneurs of the future.
EIT Digital
EIT Digital is Europe’s biggest digital innovation ecosystem and is working hard to achieve a strong, inclusive, fair, and sustainable digital Europe.
EIT Digital exemplifies the future of European innovation by assembling a pan-European multi-stakeholder open-innovation ecosystem of top European corporations, SMEs, startups, universities and research institutes, where students, researchers, engineers, business developers and investors alike have space to address the technology, talent, skills, business, and capital requirements of digital entrepreneurship.
They develop the next generation of digital ventures, digital products, and services, and breed digital entrepreneurial talent, assisting with businesses and entrepreneurs reaching the frontier of digital innovation by delivering them technology, talent, and growth support.
EIT Digital answers specific innovation needs by, for example, finding the right partners to bring technology to the market, supporting the scale-up of digital technology ventures, attracting talent and developing their digital knowledge and skills.
Since its launch in 2010, EIT Digital has provided over 2,200 students with the skills to innovate and become entrepreneurs, as well as helping more than 370 start-ups and scaleups in their journey to grow internationally and generating more than 200 ventures and launching over 530 products and services commercially.
