What are the goals for Genpact’s AI Innovation Center?
The primary objective of the AI Innovation Center is to foster co-innovation with clients, aiming to unlock the full potential of AI in revolutionising diverse business sectors.
Genpact is strategically focusing on areas such as supply chain management, finance and accounting, customer care, sales and commercial, and insurance underwriting, extending the reach of AI beyond mere productivity enhancements.
In tandem with this launch, Genpact is committed to upskilling its colossal workforce of 125,000 employees. This move aligns with their vision of not only enhancing existing capabilities but also creating fresh employment opportunities, particularly in the UK.
Drawing from Genpact’s extensive expertise in AI and profound domain knowledge amassed through collaborating with various industries, the AI Innovation Center is poised to address the complexities and possibilities AI presents to businesses.
It will fast-track client projects into a production environment by employing case studies, proof of concepts, and systematic guidance, encouraging enterprises to explore AI’s integration beyond conventional productivity gains.
Lord Dominic Johnson, Minister of State in the Department for Business and Trade, UK, lauded the establishment of the center as a testament to the UK’s burgeoning status as a hub for tech innovation and premier talent.
He said: “The UK is firmly on track to being a Science and technology superpower, and the launch of Genpact’s AI center is a testament to our reputation as a center for tech innovation and world-leading talent and R&D capabilities.
“Our Global Investment Summit on the 27th of November will showcase why we are one of the best places in the world to invest in tech, and Genpact is another shining example of the UK being chosen as the best place to foster AI-led innovation.”
Realising the power of Artificial Intelligence globally
Genpact’s ambitious AI venture is expected to burgeon beyond London, with plans to establish similar innovation centers worldwide. This development is a linchpin of the company’s $600M investment in AI over the next three years.
Genpact will extend pivotal assistance to clients in conceptualising and defining use cases tailored to deliver maximal value, leveraging industry-specific expertise and best practices.
