As part of its commitment to advancing sustainable water management, D4RUNOFF has announced an upcoming online webinar in celebration of World Water Monitoring Day.

This event, taking place on September 18th, 2024, at 10 am CET, will spotlight innovative solutions for managing urban water runoff—a critical issue in the face of climate change and urbanisation.

This event is in collaboration with three sister projects, D4RUNOFF,  WATERUN and STOP UP, with the support of the Horizon Results Booster.

The collaboration between D4RUNOFF, WATERUN, and STOPUP, guided by Horizon Results Booster, shows how teamwork can tackle key environmental challenges. By combining resources and expertise, they are improving urban water management and promoting sustainable practices across Europe.

Why this webinar matters

Urban water runoff poses significant challenges, from flooding to water pollution. Addressing these issues requires cutting-edge solutions and collaborative efforts, which is why this webinar is being organised during World Water Monitoring Day.

This day serves as a global platform for exploring solutions to water-related challenges, making it the perfect time to kick off the campaign and gather participants.

In this webinar, participants will explore the work of the projects, including the technologies and innovative tools developed to monitor urban water runoff and provide solutions for decision-makers. The webinar will also highlight ongoing efforts in various European and non-European regions.
